Online learning hub at TRIEC campus
The TRIEC campus is a new online learning hub offering complimentary, self-paced resources designed to increase the effectiveness of leaders and employees in a culturally diverse work-place.
“With over 50 per cent of Toronto residents born abroad, the benefits that a culturally diverse workplace inclusive of skilled immigrants brings in terms of innovation and access to markets are clear,” said Joan Atlin, interim Executive Director at TRIEC.
“The TRIEC campus provides the tools and resources employers need to make their diversity goals a reality.”
The TRIEC campus provides tools to help business and human resources leaders create and implement human resources practices to be better able to recruit and retain skilled immigrants. These tools can help promote systemic change and measure progress towards developing culturally inclusive workplaces.
In addition to advancing overall organizational diversity, the campus is a learning and development tool for both human resources professionals and all those working or looking to work on culturally diverse teams, including skilled immigrants.
It was made possible through funding by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration.
The TRIEC campus is a recertification partner with the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) in Ontario and courses can be taken for credit towards the recertification of the CHRP designation.
