Certified Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA Ontario) has strengthened its relationships with two of India’s leading business schools, the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad.
CMA Ontario has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IIM-A, which provides IIM-A students access to the Canadian CMA Strategic Leadership Program (SLP). There is currently a pilot program where IIM-A MBA students are participating in the CMA SLP.
“It is important that Canada’s Certified Management Accountants deepen our relationships with the foremost institutions in India as it continues to emerge as a force in the global economy,” said Merv Hillier, President and Chief Executive Officer of CMA Ontario .
CMA Ontario is also sponsoring the ISB-Ivey Case Competition 2011 ( go to http://www.isb.edu/casecompetition/). The objective of the competition is to help build a collection of high-quality, internationally-benchmarked cases about Indian businesses.
The Certified Management Accountants of Ontario is a self-governing professional organization with some 25,000 members.
